No nonsense wall-writings of an "AnJOLINA" Jolie fan and a Catholic school-girl gone bad. Both live in a world of endless changes joined by common ideals and opinions regarding things--bitchy, stupid and real.

ANOTHER BORING WEEKEND.
It's the end of the week once again. Nothing else to do but to mope at home aside from the fact that I have review during Saturdays and Sundays for the coming board exams. I haven't been able to review lately. I'm so damn tired of preparing for it...
It's the same weekend has come again...same as the last one and the one previous to the last one and the one before that. Oh well...
I haven't slept and I have a class later...what am I suppose to do there then? Sleep or learn? Can I do both?
Good thing Cecille has managed to get me out of my routinaringly boring life and so we're going to meet at Ponana later tonight. That's in Libis...haven't gone there but I do hope I do enjoy! It's ten minutes before five in the morning and in a few minutes I'll prepare for my class at 8am. Shit! Bummer!

MOLLY RINGWALD IN THE 80's and THE BREAKFAST CLUB
Whenever I think about the 80's I can't seem to miss Molly Ringwald and the series of flicks she did during the baduy decade of the 80's. This red headed girl from nowhere seems to be an important person worth given credit more of an icon than just some Hollywood actress. I recently saw her in In Style watching a Fashion Show the program was covering. For sure she's not famous anymore and her career is definitely down the drain...malamang lang.
I can't seem to recall if I already did a blog on the 80's but this morning I was watching MYX Suburbia and the Psychedelic Furs' Pretty in Pink song was played. The MTV was obviously 80's. It showed clips from the Pretty in Pink movie that somehow made me go in an 80's trance. The movie had a simple outfit plot to it. There was this highschool girl falling in love with a guy from school. So what is the problem with that? These things happen in real life? Well, here's the typical so-called 80's twist, the girl is somewhat poor and the guy was very rich and belonged to an elite clan. Sounds familiar? Like yeah, that is so typical of a Filipino movie, "...langit ka ngunit ako'y lupa" sort of lines. So can we now realize we haven't gotten out of the 80's complex with the quality of movies that we make? That's another thing worth blogging but not today. Now back to my 80's blog...
Obviously the guy's eletist friends did not approve of her and so did Molly's father and close friends who finds out about it. Enough said. The movie takes a twist when things didn't work out with the both of them with the rest of the populace all against it and they finally break up. The movie ends during the prom where they get back together because of their true love for each other. The end and they lived happily ever after. As simple as that! Truly worth what you paid for it in the movie house if this was your thing.
Among her other movies with a similar severity of issues are The Breakfast Club, For Keeps and Sixteen Candles. A similar movie classified under the Molly Ringwald groupie is Somekind of Wonderful (Mary Stuart Masterson and the guy from Anaconda...Eric Stoltz). To give you a glimpse of the similarity of these movies, all happened during highschool. They are a bit teeny-bopper in style but not as baduy and corny as the Jolina and Marvin type of movies. The Breakfast Club (Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, etc.) is a movie of a group of highschool individuals that had to spend a whole Saturday for detention with varying offenses. What made the movie click was that each represented a different group in a typical American highschool. There was a prom-queen tease, a dysfunctionally introvert cleptomaniac girl, a class athlete, a school bully and a class geek. Each was different from one another but one thing that made them mesh was that they were all indeed ordinary students trying to move in a harsh environment wherein you had to belong in able to survive. Dawson's Creek did a similar episode on this...pathetic! At the end of the day these kids all eventually became friends and formed a unique bond of friendship that only they for themselves will ever understand. As if it was easy as that! :o) Why is it then a feel good movie? Because for everyone who was born during this era of lifestyle, we can all relate to it. Promise!
I remember when I was in highschool we had a group which set us apart from everyone. There were the smarty kids, the elitist ones, the nobody, the social climbers, the trying-hard to be cool types, the athetic types, the super teacher I wanna suck you type of kids, etc. I don't ever intend to tell you where I really belonged but I wasn't an outcast. It's a coping mechanism for all of us I guess. You belong to a group to what you think you'll mesh well depending on what is common to all of you (looks, stature, wealth, brains). These are just one of the joys of being in highschool. Such a pity if you were so left-out not to realize such. These are one of the things I truly miss being in highschool. The joys, pains and struggle.

WHAT AM I TO DO?
Hoping that somebody else may be able to read this aside from Nikki (who is in Tasmania by the way), you can't do anything else but to read the entire shitty entry because even if you wanted to comment, you cannot blog back...muwahahahahaha!
Why do I have a funny feeling this day still won't be as productive as how I would have supposedly envisioned it to be?
Aside from this, I feel I'm losing my social life...which I don't have anyway. So what is there to lose?
I feel that I'm losing myself...to whom? to what? I don't know...
Perhaps its just my undying love for caffeine spiked drinks and my passion for a grande Caffe Latte (with additional vanilla syrup and whip) that makes me somewhat in a looney bin today. Are these withdrawal symptoms of my addiction?
I'd rather not talk about work related problems when I blog but it being an integral part of my so-called life I can't help but mention a few when I blog. Or perhaps maybe I'm just running out of things to blog about therefore I resort to my rants and raves and angsts about work just to be able to blog. Well, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...

My reaction to your f**cking blog to my shitty blog...wonderfully done and with good taste! A perfect combination like the union of a beautiful princess and a green, ugly creature from mars...ano ka SHREK? Anyway, that's what I call a really fuckingly, shitty blog from hell coming from a damed bitch with an attitude...THE ATTITUDE!
Tasmania? There's this song from Looney Toons before: "...I say we come to Tazmania, come to Tazmania..."
What the hell are you going to do there? Well, by the time you read this all would be part of the past so I'd rather rephrase the whole thing. What did you do there? Is it work related? What the fuck is your boss making you work on? Is it civilized there? Do they have electricity...I guess! Do they have MTV and HBO there?
Puti pa ba mga people there or maputi ka na sa paningin nila?
Well, I can't do anything about this since you'd be only able to tell me what happened to you there only when you get back and that would be like in two weeks. Oh well...so I'll just mope!
I pity your Benetton maleta talaga...it would have been so hard to the suitcase with all the scratches and dents and all. As if it was gang-raped or something! You should make the bag go to therapy or a support group for battered suitcases. As for your airport experience...okay lang yan...learn it, live it, love it and move on! Kasi not even the world will sit still and wallow to what has happened to you. Hehehehe. Joke! So we have our own airport blunder experiences pala huh? Sa akin plain kabobohan talaga as in! And I have already told you about it na.
Ah really? Dolly Ann Carvajal fuckingly owns that joint? It looked more like a whorehouse to me than a bar. Pero I had fun...I just had one beer...yuck wala sila Baccardi Breezer or Smirnoff Mule so I had San Mig Light...yuck a girl drink. Everyone was having it so kebbs ko ba, so ako rin!

This will be my last post for this week and the following week as tomorrow, I'm off to the freezing land of TASMANIA! hahaha... yep, no, no, no, Tasmania DOES exist. It's nota figment of our imaginations like Timbuktoo or Lalaland. It is an Australian territory right down the southern part hence the ice-cold temps (as opposed to Darwin which is far up north hence the Manila-like weather). Now I know you're gonna ask me, is that where Taz the WB character came from? Well, I have NO idea honey but I'm sure they thought Tasmania would be this forgotten primitive island that no one would even take a look at and so they named their devil after him. haha, too bad I'm going there tomorrow and I'll be wreaking havoc just like the devil himself (i meant Taz, not that other guy).
I've packed and repacked my suitcase 3 times already (I'm bringing that hard case luggage that I bought in Benetton which I thought was a good buy and would make me look chic while travelling through various airports in the world -- NOT! at P7,000 buckeroos I could hardly even utter a word when after my first flight I took a look at it on the conveyor belt, standing high and mighty (as opposed to those soft maletas that you deform and take the shape of whatever it is you put inside it [say, a person who has plans of going TNT in america]) and sporting 1,478 scratches and dents...what the f*ck?! anyway, i thought that was it, but nooooo, the minute I got hold of it as it passed me by and yanked it towards the cart I had stolen from some old lady sitting on the bench waiting for her equally old husband to get their bags, I thought I had broken my wrist as the big silver piece of luggage went KABLAG, KABLOG, BOG, BOG ,BOG! onto the trolley. Of course, I looked like an idiot trying to make buhat the maleta (and trying to look like it weighed in at just about the prescribed weight of 20 kilos when in fact I crammed in my entire room in manila so it f*cking weighed 36 kilos which forced me to charm my way through the checkin counter in manila so they wouldn't charge me excess baggage!) when I know it could do some serious damage to my hands and to my back. Ok, i'm veering off topic. ANyway, i just finished closing the damn thing (had to sit on it for it to close) and so now I have to go to sleep so I can wake up at 4:00 in the morning to make it to the airport without having to pull another Home Alone (you know, overslept, ran to the check in counter, tossed the boarding pass to the stewardess, made a grand entrance on the plane by boarding 10 minute after the final call so everybody's seated and waiting, and watching YOU and then screaming "tangina!" when you accidentally bonk yourself on the head with your backpack as you try to stow it away in the overhead compartment) just like last year (but that's another story, and that one aint' my fault. the driver took us the brisbane INTERNATIONAL airport,w hen he should've brought us to the DOMESTIC airport to catch our flight to sydney.)
Danes, still reading this? or have you puked already? Ok, i'll stop. Oh, you went to wAtering Hole? Did you see Dolly Ann CArvajal (Inday Badiday jra)? SHe's there so often people think she f*cking owns the place. As if.
Oh, and huling pahabol. your shitty blog to my f*cking blog...makes a great combination eh?

70's Rock versus Anime?
I had to have a break from my so-called routinary lifestyle of some sort so I decided to go out last night. A friend invited me over to this bar near Shangri-La Plaza since her brother was going to play there. When I arrived, the other band was still playing and it almost made me go home. It was Watering Hole...home of the famous 10 peso beer and they had a band playing ala Mike Hanopol and Pepe Smith. Honestly if I were to choose between them and a big muted WEGA hanging over their heads showing an anime cartoon in AXN I'd rather choose to watch instead. The band sucked for all eternity...
But the next band wasn't so bad...it played some pop songs which I really liked (NOTE: I'm not a pop lovin' person but I do like some) and new wave songs.
Do you have the Cindy Margolis Show in cable there? It's a riot show I should say...ala The Grind with all the bikini babes with fake boobs gyrating their asses out of their witts plus queens and drags hosting the damned show! Kapag wala ka nang magawa sa buhay mo at nalolongkot, that show will definitely cheer you up!
I'm running late...I''m always late. Gotta go.
