I just realized that Aussies have this knack for naming places with words that roll of your tongue. Words that if used for places here in the Philippines would've illicited giggles and eye-rolling acts from people. Have a go at saying the following words which are actual places in the Land Down Under:

OK, I'm not that keen on technogadget stuff but are you implying that it's not better than Palm? How come in the Mapalad mailing list the impression I got was that it was in a class of its own, like it was far more better than the high end Palms? (I'm not looking for trouble, nagtatanong lang po).
It'I've made history, I was late for the first time (HA! take that Mr. Pocahontas!) I was actually ready 15 minutes before we were to leave cos I had to pack my computer in the van which I sold to my officemate, but then just as we were leaving, the van wouldn't start! MY uncle had to do the McGyver bit, using the jumper to make it start using the other car's battery. Tsk tsk tsk, sometimes I just love not knowing things about cars.....I'd hateto get all that grease on my hands....
We had morning tea today and I stuffed my face (as usual) with sausage roll and cheesecakes. Did I mention before that Australians are cheesecake crazy? They've got a place called the Australian Cheesecake Factory and it's got over a hunder varieties of the sweet-sour dessert?

I BEG TO DISAGREE
I myself have seen an iPaq already. It's a bit thick and it doesn't have a sleek feel to it. It's somewhat boxy pa nga e. It runs using a Windows CE based OS so that's a limitation in itself. Fewer or no freebie programs are available so you would be forced to buy everytime. It's colored but aside from that it functions basically the same way as a Palm does...and almost the same features. It's more in the high end in terms of the price. I think Palm is still better.

I remember that show! That's Monica's Allie's and my favorite Oprah show! AS IN DREAM NAMING MAKA ATTEND NG EPISODE NA YUN. It's an annual thing Oprah does during Christmas and it's always a surprise. They don't tell the audience....hence surprise talaga! Is this the Christmas where she gave away Ugh boots? the big furry warm boots from Australia? I was watching Oprah last night by accident...she was giving out each and everyone in the audience her favorite things. Why couldn't I be there when that happened? She gave out Prestos, CD players, CD's, the Motorola Talkabout 2-way SMS thing, talking picture frame, books, toys, shoes, sosi things for the bathroom and so much more. Damn I wish I could have when she gave out!
I dunno if it was a re-run of Oprah in Studio23 coz I think that was a December episode but kebbs she was giving out stuff to people in her show!

MOOD MUSIC
Daniel, you will ABSOLUTELY love this band. I'm sure they'd suit your angsty moments. Check out Killing Heidi on the web. They're one of Australia's premiere rock bands and get this, the vocalist's an 18 year-old girl! Ella Cooper is one young Australian Icon (think Kylie Minogue na HINDI mukhang babaeng bakla) already because of the band's popularity. Their lyrics are just well, so damn good! If the kuripot in me doesn't wake up before I leave (it seems to be in hibernation lately), I will buy their CD and I promise to lend it to you ASAP!

About our rhinitis...I've been doing bad as well. It's springtime here and everything floating in the air seems to be heading straight for my nose! Pollen, dust, cat fur, dog fur....argh!
About SBC, I've only tried it 3 or 4 times and to be quite frank, I don't remember what it tasted like. All I remember was the first time, Monics and Allie and I wanted to get some in Megamall but their little corner was full so we just had some for takeaway and drank it in the car on the way to the pool. Therefore, with the coffee sipping-people watching tandem gone, i lost my coffee appetite for that day.
My new passport arrived yesterday and my picture looks like complete and utter SHIT. I think the passport I had renewed at the Australian embassy in Manila was of better quality than the one i had done here.....but at least getting my passport means I can go buy a ticket to go home! woohoo! I'll let you know as soon as I book my ticket.

Thank God you finally got the time to blog. I'm overwhelmed....if you could only see or even hear me bitch and snipe to every snide remark you made you'd probably slap me in the head.

The "getting to know you thingy":
- the wallet : get a new one Daney-o, Girbaud's jologgs na....it's not the cool brand it used to be since it slashed its prices and decided that they should sell crappy bags and wallets (but i own 2 of those denim reversible ones you know) at rock bottom prices but take a look at their jeans and they're still sky-high. Hello? i think their marketing strategist is a bit confused....
- the shades: i used to own one which I bought in Galleria on a whim and which I lost 3 days later. At least mura lang siya no! Just make sure they're UVF whatever whatever. My Mom actually doesn't like cheap glasses in the sense that they don't protect your eyes daw....oh well, at least that gives me a reason to buy expensive ones
- the shoes: OMG, everyone as in everyone's wearing Nike Prestos na? EWWW! I don't like it anymore....and to think I got a cute pair that's a nice sky blue color and it doesn't have laces anymore. I just squish my foot inside and it's done! It even came with water proofing spray cos it's made of this thin material. ANd to think I thought I had such cool shoes cos Allie saw a pic of it and she wanted the exact same pair and she only saw it in Italy! Hmph, better ditch those prestos....after all, i bought it in may and i've done so much walking in it it's ready to fall apart (exagggggggg). HOY! how did you do that link to Bass? (I love my Bass boots.....comfy!!!) I've asked you 6 million times how to make a link to a site and you've never answered me on that one....bitch!
- the nail polish: my answer to your question is, YES. I mean i'm you're friend at the rate that you're going now so if you do all that gothic stuff then I guess it wouldn't hurt to go just a bit lower eh? kidding, kidding.
- the computer: guess what? I might sell my beloved comp......i'm scared it might get damaged if I ship it home. Waaaah, all the offers are just about half the price! and to think it's just 4 months old! DAMMIT, I'm going for an iBook next time.

I FEEL SHIT UP IN MY NOSE
All I know is that I am a hypersensitive person. I have allergic rhinitis and I can't do anything to get rid of it but the doctor gave me medicines to relieve the irritating sneezing and the head bashing headaches. But it seems it's back! And now more worse than ever. I am not even so sure I might have gotten a flu already. I feel shit...and I have been sneezing the whole night.

I'M COOL, I HAVE TIME TO BLOG!
For some strange reason, when I was still in college, I hated doing this sort of 'getting-to-know-you' thingee e-mails the reason being that I didn't have time tinkering my head on what to say. And to think I'd had to send it to a number of people together with the person who sent it to me. But lately I got the hang of it...like the first time I heard about Neoprint from you kikay bitch! Hahaha. Before anything else, here is what I have to say.
WALLET: Yup, I had my beaten up Benetton wallet (I got with Adri when we were in the 8th grade) replaced. It had lots of memories with it since it was the first time I went to the mall without my parents and I got to buy my wallet out of my savings. I still knew the value of saving during that time...that was way, way back! Suddenly I realize I'm really getting old now...and spend a lot! What I have since early this year is my black Girbaud wallet with lots of pockets for the ID's, ATM and other card-like things I like to keep. Sorry, I'm not a big spender here (yeah right!) so I don't keep a credit card there since I don't have one yet. It's a typical guy wallet...made of low maintenance material since it is faux leather but I like the texture and feel nonetheless. After I bought my wallet Girbaud came up with a new batch of ugly wallets more of what jologgs aspire to have...yuck, yuck, yuck! Oops, I keep my new wallet most of the time at home since the leather case of my Palm more or less acts as my wallet all in one. It definitely isn't as spacious as the wallet I used to have but it's enough for my ID, ATM and my Bankard e-cash card and some real cash. Plus I get to carry around my Palm that I can definitely live without! Look for my Palm entry.
HAIR-BRUSH: No hairbrush...I keep my hair really short that I just brush my fingers through my hair in the morning and that's all that I need. :o)
TOOTHBRUSH: A blue Oral-B toothbrush...kinda nice since I like the look. Kikay! Sorry Nikki for having such a pokpok friend like muah...
JEWELRY WORN DAILY: none...is watch considered as a jewelry? In any case I don't have a watch since I don't think I need it being always late and all. I have a timepiece in my phone and Palm. So I guess I don't really need a watch...OA na!
PILLOW COVER: my pillow cover definitely matches my sheets. It's colored pastel blue with a few streaks of pastel pink, yellow, green. I don't care where my mom got it but I like it anyway. It matches my baby blue walls and basically all stuff in my room with a blue base color.
COFFEE CUP: I have a plain black mug at home. I like my plates, mugs, porcelain cookwares in black...it has a sort of elegant feel to it. At work I have a Taz mega mug all of my co-workers refer to as my 'tabo'. LOL
SUNGLASSES: Bubuyog? I definitely am not the one...I have a super cheap sunglass I bought on our way to La Union last summer. We had lunch at the Luisita Mall in Tarlac and got a pair of I2I sunglasses that people mistake to be expensive. Like duh?
SHOES: Si Nikki naka-Presto...siyet! I have been wanting to have a pair too but it seems all people here have Prestos...medyo exagg lang and kakabili ko lang ng shoes. I saw this really nice pair from a person I met recently--sige na si Rosby na nga--ganda Presto niya. It looks good on him. I don't think he got it here. It really is nice...blue pa! Jenny has blue prestos. I am wearin a black taray shoes from G.H.Bass. I love my shoes forever!
NAILPOLISH: hmmm, I'm still thinking if I have to have my vagina pink nails done again...it chipped off while typing in this bullshit keys. Hehehehehe! Nailpolish...definitely not me! Would you still be my friend if I paint my freakin nails black to match my black outfit and my eyes with black eyeliner and I'm cussing everyone I see in the street while I recite a very demonic verse? Buwahahahaha!
KEYCHAIN: I use the Pooh keychain you got me from Disneyland when you went to the States a couple of summers ago.
COMPUTER: I have an ASUS laptop. I can't have it upgraded so I'm going back to the desktop PC soon so I can have a P3 processor. I have a dire need for speed!
FAVORITE TOP: I'd rather call it FAVORITE SHIRT: blue and green stripped polo shirt I got from Levi's. One white shirt I got from Hanes...sarap kasi I find it cool as in presko to wear.
FAVORITE PANTS: My Dockers slacks...I go for comfort. Well, comfortable din naman mga jeans ko na iisa ang brand pero I like the look and feel of slacks. I might get a cargo from Dockers...LOL!
SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER: Pantene for dry and damaged hair. I have the amino collagen crap shampoo replaced recently.
PERFUME: Go Kenzo girl! I'm using Weekend by Burberry's. I used to wear Wings by I dunno who but it smelled really great!
CDS IN THE STEREO: Look the other Way by Lou Pardini, Northern Star by Mel C. and Food From the Buffet Table by Barbie's Cradle
CAR: I don't drive.
TELEVISION: The last TRINITRON that came out before the WEGA.
STEREO: nope...my room is too small for a stereo and a TV...I chose the latter. I'm a TV freak!
TELEPHONE: a generic black cordless phone we got from Home Depot
CELLPHONE: white mother of pearl Nokia 8210...I love your casing bitch! I have my good 'ol 7110 here with me with the Matrix door that I still find cool this very moment.

DESK: my desk sucks... it's all messed up! At home I have the all gray computer desk that doesn't have any personlity whatsoever...at work I have a nice wooden desk with lots of drawers and very spacious with a chair that goes with it...I think the last teacher who used to sit on this have died already. Ha! Joke!
I just have to add this...
PDA: PalmVx with a really neat foldable keyboard! Ha...it completes me (corny). It's my scheduler, datebook, phonebook, doodle pad, e-book, game gear, clock, logo manager, ringing tone keeper and all! It's my life!

Barf-o
No, I did not barf but I've been wanting to do so if it will make me feel better. I'm sick.....we went to church this morning and I got the chills for some weird reason. I slept 4 hours and now I'm not cold anymore but I've just got that throbbing headache and eyes that feel so hot.
We even went to the mall after but I just sat on a bench and waited for them while they went around. Maybe it's God's punishment cos I spent $200.00 yesterday on clothes....or maybe it's His way of stopping me from wasting anymore money today.
